First Time Visiting a Dominatrix? What to Expect
If you’ve never visited a professional Dominatrix before, you’ve probably wondered what actually happens during a BDSM session - particularly if you’re considering visiting a Dominatrix for the first time.
The truth is, every Dominatrix works differently. We all have our own personalities, styles and ways of structuring a session, so I can’t tell you exactly what visiting somebody else will be like.
But as a professional Dominatrix in London, I can tell you what you can expect when you book a session with me.

Before Your First Time Visiting a Dominatrix
By the time you come to see me, we’ll usually have communicated beforehand. That might have been nothing more than a few emails and a straightforward booking, or we may have spoken more extensively about your fantasies and interests.
Some people know exactly what they want.
Others arrive knowing only that something about submission, BDSM or being under the control of a Dominant woman has been occupying their thoughts.
Both are absolutely fine.
When somebody isn’t quite sure what they want, I like finding out what sparked their curiosity in the first place. When was that first seed planted in your brain? What have you fantasised about? What have you seen that stayed in your mind? What is it that simultaneously intrigues you and makes you nervous?
And if the answer is genuinely, “I don’t know - just want to explore,” I rather enjoy that too.
I even have what I jokingly call my vanilla drawer.
It isn’t vanilla at all. In a 'vanilla world' it would be considered an intimidating freak of a drawer.
Compared to all my other secretive drawers and cupboards, it is very vanilla.
It houses my collection of introductory toys and equipment: cuffs, blindfolds and other relatively basic accessible things that allow us to explore different sensations and dynamics without immediately diving into the deep end.
I also keep a few things to hand in that drawer for somebody curious about experimenting with feminisation or cross-dressing.
Think of it as the tasting menu.
If I sense that something particularly lights you up, there is considerably more where that came from - and that is when my exciting drawers open up.
While You’re on Your Way, I’m Preparing
There is quite a lot happening at my end before you ever ring my doorbell.
I prepare the space specifically for the person I’m expecting. I make sure the temperature is comfortable, particularly because you’re unlikely to be wearing very much for long. Fresh towels are ready. Everything is clean and prepared.
And I light candles.
Lots of candles.
I adore them - the warmth, the scent and the atmosphere they create.
More importantly, I make sure the equipment I think I might want is within reach. I don’t want to spend your session rummaging through cupboards because an idea has suddenly occurred to me.
Our time together is precious to me too.
I want to be able to change direction if I read something in you that makes me think, Oh…I know they will enjoy this. Especially if I am in a provocatively wicked mood.
What Happens When You Arrive?
Your arrival is discreet.
I’ll bring you inside, let you put down your belongings and show you the bathroom so that you can freshen up.
And then things become rather more interesting.
I don’t generally rush somebody straight into a scene.
With somebody new, one of my favourite moments happens in front of my large mirror.
I’ll stand you in front of it with me behind you and have you undress - sometimes partially, sometimes completely, depending upon what we’ve agreed AND what mood I am in.
I love that moment. I love you to watch what is about to happen to you.
The nerves. The vulnerability. Being close enough that you can smell my perfume. Knowing I’m behind you while you’re not permitted to look into my eyes unless I tell you that you may.
And eventually, I have you kneel at my feet.
That is the moment when you know that you are now in my world.
What You Say You Want Isn’t Always What You Need
An email can tell me a lot.
A person kneeling at my feet tells me considerably more.
Someone can sound extraordinarily confident while writing about everything they want me to do to them.
Put that same person in front of me, vulnerable and nervous, and I may discover an entirely different energy.
That’s why I don’t treat every submissive according to some predetermined script.
I watch.
I listen.
I pay attention to reactions, body language, confidence, nervousness and the energy between us.
There is a difference between what somebody thinks they want and what they actually respond to and need.
Experience has taught me how important that distinction is.
Once I have a sense of the person in front of me, the session begins to develop naturally from there.
And I know what is best for you.
Safe Doesn’t Necessarily Mean Predictable
I want somebody with me to feel secure.
I want them to know that consent and agreed limits matter, that I’m experienced, that I’m paying attention and that what we do together is being approached with care.
But relaxed?
Well…
I am a sadist.
And I am always mischievous.
So just when I see somebody beginning to think, Oh, I’m quite comfortable now…
I enjoy dragging them back to being on their toes.
Not knowing exactly what is coming next is part of the delicious psychological side of submission.
Within someone’s agreed boundaries, I enjoy coaxing them towards the edges of their comfort zone. Limits are respected; exploration happens inside them.
Because for me, BDSM isn’t simply about enduring something.
It’s exploration.
It’s discovering responses you didn’t know you had. It’s gradually developing trust. It’s finding that something which once seemed frightening or impossible becomes something you actively crave.
Sometimes that happens during one session.
Sometimes it develops over many.
What Happens After a BDSM Session?
One of the most fascinating things is watching how differently people behave when a session ends.
Some submissives snap straight back into everyday life.
One minute they’re completely under my control; the next they’re getting dressed and happily telling me where they’re going for dinner.
And I enjoy that.
If somebody wants to decompress, have a cup of tea, talk about the experience or simply chat about life for a while, they’re welcome to. I’ve developed some unique connections with people through those conversations.
Other submissives want precisely the opposite.
They don’t want the spell broken.
They want to remain in that submissive headspace while they dress and leave, maintaining the Mistress/submissive dynamic right until the final moment.
That’s fine too. I can sense both. I keep the experience seamless.
Aftercare isn’t identical for everybody, because people aren’t identical.
Once again, I read the person in front of me rather than forcing them through a standard routine. My experiences are always organic. Nothing feels scripted or forced. I am the guiding force throughout, so there are no awkward pauses or moments of wondering what happens next. For that time, it's just you and me in our own little kinky world, and I lead wherever the moment takes us.
My Favourite Transformation Isn’t Physical
There is one part of this work that I find particularly rewarding.
I’ve had people arrive carrying what feels like the weight of the world.
Sometimes they’ve spent years believing that their fantasies make them strange, perverse or somehow fundamentally different from everybody else.
Then they experience those desires in a consensual environment with somebody who doesn’t recoil from them, laugh at them or make them feel ashamed.
And you can sometimes physically see the difference when they leave.
They’re lighter.
There’s a smile. A little spark. A confidence that wasn’t there when they arrived.
And when somebody returns over time and I watch that confidence grow, that’s incredibly rewarding.
For someone who has spent years shutting down part of their sexuality, simply discovering there is a place where this side of me is understood can be enormously freeing.
So, What Should You Expect From a Dominatrix Session With Me?
The practical answer is surprisingly simple.
You arrive. You freshen up. We begin. We explore whatever we’ve agreed to explore.
Afterwards, you can wind down and talk - or remain firmly in your submissive headspace until you leave.
But that’s only the mechanics of it.
For me, a good BDSM experience isn’t simply about owning an impressive collection of equipment or knowing how to use it.
The psychological element matters just as much.
You need instinct. You need to be able to read another human being. You need to know when to push, when not to push, when somebody needs reassurance and when they’re secretly hoping you’ll make them squirm a little longer.
Technical skills can be learned, and I’ve learned plenty over the years.
But the instinct to dominate was there long before any of that.
I’ve had it since I was a teenager.
Over the years I’ve gained experience, knowledge and confidence, but that fundamental instinct never needed to be taught.
I suspect quite a few Dominants would tell you the same thing.
Some things you learn.
And some things simply seem to have always been there.
